Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation supports Sophia For Children Foundation’s “I Cook and I Offer” program in Limassol

Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation and Sophia For Children Foundation joined forces for the “I Cook and I Offer” initiative, furthering their mission to uplift children and families in need.

The event took place at one of the elementary schools in Limassol, with children from economically vulnerable families. Andrey Dashin, Founder of Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation, together with his Exinity executive team, actively participated in the day’s activities by cooking meals alongside the school’s cooks, serving lunch to the students and distributing gifts.

“Through events like this, we see the true meaning of community engagement,” said Andrey Dashin. “At Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation, we believe that every child deserves not only essential care, but also dignity and hope for the future. We are grateful to stand alongside the Sophia For Children Foundation in this meaningful mission.”

As part of its contribution, the Foundation gifted all students with athletic tracksuits and water bottles, aiming to provide practical support and bring joy to the children. This gesture was made possible through the collaboration of Athlokinisi, who provided a special discount, ensuring that every child received high-quality branded sportswear.

For almost two decades, Sophia For Children Foundation’s programs have been transforming the lives of children in Cyprus and Kenya for the better, through care and education, ensuring they have the opportunity for a brighter future. Approved by the Ministry of Education, Sophia’s “I Cook and I Offer” initiative was launched in Cyprus in 2013 to provide lunch for children in all-day primary and nursery schools, targeting economically vulnerable communities. The program serves 1,500 students across 18 primary and 10 nursery schools, ensuring that all children receive a nutritious meal regardless of their families’ financial circumstances.

By supporting its work, Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the welfare of children and vulnerable groups in Cyprus.
