Honouring a Legacy Through Music

The June 5 concert, “Stelios Pissis: A Symphony of Life,” reminded us of the power of music and the human spirit.

As the Main Supporter, Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation was delighted to stand behind this heartfelt initiative by TelethonCyprus, celebrating the life and work of Stelios Pissis. An extraordinary composer who defied all limits by composing with his eyes and inspiring a nation.

The evening brought together the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, the ARIS Choir of Limassol, and artists Pantelis Thalassinos, Demetris Fanis, and Sophia Patsalides for a performance that left no heart untouched.

This is a story that speaks to the core of human resilience. Stelios Pissis’s ability to create beauty despite unimaginable limitations reminds us what it truly means to live with purpose.
