On New Year’s Eve, I, along with my eldest children Alexandra and Pavel paid a visit to the orphanage “Care”, which is in the Alekseyevsky Region of the Republic of Tatarstan.
This December marked the 15 year anniversary of Alpari. Over this time, the company has made remarkable progress and has taken a leading position on the Russian and international markets. Recently, my colleagues and I gathered in Kazan, the birthplace of the company, to celebrate this anniversary.

For the second time this year, my company, in partnership with the Municipality of Limassol organized a feast of entertainment for all fans of vivid sports entertainment. Entry to the Appolon Arena for the FXTM Cup was open to all and free of charge, gathering a large audience including my colleagues and friends from Russia.
In November Alpari UK has announced the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer, David Hodge, who joined the business two years ago. Now David faces a serious challenge for a return to a renewed focus on the core retail FX product.
In October Alpari became an official partner of the Russian national biathlon team, signing a sponsorship deal with the Russian Biathlon Union.
I was recently invited by the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency to be interviewed for a promotional video for potential investors looking to develop their business in Cyprus.
On my recommendation, a group of Alpari employees went on a trip to Nepal towards the end of September. The group was made up of some of my Alpari colleagues from Moscow, Kazan, Ekaterinburg and Tashkent.
Towards the end of August, we opened an FXTM representative office in London. This was a landmark event for the company, not only because this is our first office outside of Cyprus, but also because the office is located in the financial capital of the world.

My company FXTM recently sponsored 2 shows of the renowned St. Petersburg State Academic Ballet Theater of Boris Eifman in Limassol, Cyprus. For 2 days, Russian ballet took over the stage of the Limassol Garden Theater with performances of Eifman’s “Red Giselle”. The ballet’s unusually expressive choreography, its imaginative direction and its magnificent scenery have created fans in dozens of countries around the world and kept the show in production for 17 years.
