Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation joins forces with Choice FM for a family quest game
On 10 November at Old Town, Limassol, Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation in cooperation with Choice FM held a family quest game ‘Treasure Hunt 2019: School Edition’. More than 500 attendees, including students studying at schools from all over Limassol, their parents and teachers, took part in a free of charge fun treasure hunt, filled with knowledge and adventure.
The game started in front of the Castle Square, then, there was different checkpoints near the center of the city, from where each team where able to check-in and answer a simple question (related to the history of Limassol, the monuments, but also a general sponsor – Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation). At the same time participants had to search and find the hidden spot to be able to proceed to the next stage. The gifts were given to the first 40 teams (there were 149 teams in total). The winners received cinema, restaurant, and bowling vouchers, and many more.
Furthermore, there was an activities program for kids including, face painting, clown, dance show, various games as well as free snacks, juice and water.
Founder Andrey Dashin stated:
“It’s a great idea to learn more about the history of Limassol in a playful way, which is especially interesting for children. Moreover, ‘Treasure Hunt’ teaches how to work in teams. In addition, the game gives an opportunity to have fun not only for children, but also for their parents and teachers. It’s a real adventure for the whole family!”
The 5th “Treasure Hunt: School Edition” was also organized in cooperation with Limassol’s Federation of Greek Teachers in Cyprus, with the support of Limassol Municipality and the contribution of Parents and Guardians Association of Limassol district.
