Art Clean-Up
We are thrilled to share the success of our Art Clean-Up event on Sunday, April 7th, along the picturesque seacoast near Limassol New Port. The event was organized by the City Friends Club and made possible thanks to the generous donation of Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation and the significant support of the Exinity Group team. It brought together employees and their families for a vital mission: to clear the coast of litter and transform some of the waste into a meaningful art piece.
Mr. and Mrs. Dashin and their youngest daughter, Anfisa, were actively involved in the initiative, underscoring their commitment to environmental stewardship. This event was a major highlight as it involved trash collection, which was set to be transformed into a striking art installation, a 3 x 1.7m metal fish sculpture. This impressive piece will be showcased at the upcoming Environmental Art Exhibition from May 17th to 21st. The Andrey & Julia Dashin Foundation aims to spotlight the island’s pollution issues through this sculpture and inspire more community action for a healthier environment.
It is worth mentioning that the City Friends Club is a charity dependent on generous donations. The organization continues to lead efforts to keep our city clean with daily organized walks and specialized clean-up trucks for bulky items. This event’s success was the result of the collective efforts of all the participants who shared the vision of a cleaner and healthier environment.
It is solely up to us to determine the kind of world in which our children will reside: one that is clean and free of garbage or more closely resembles a massive landfill. Therefore, the Andrey and Julia Dashin Foundation tirelessly works to bring public attention to the issue of environmental protection and demonstrates by their actions that every feasible effort can make a significant contribution to the common cause.
