Summer camp for students of Apostolos Loukas Special School
Children with developmental challenges need the same things as everyone else: to go to school, make new friends, learn, create, enjoy life, excel, grow and develop. The Apostolos Loukas Special School in Limassol offers these things.
With a rich history dating back to 1966, the Apostolos Loukas Special School has been a pioneer in providing education for children with special needs. Over the decades, the school has consistently organized various activities for the students, both within and outside the school, to foster their integration into society.
Today, Apostolos Loukas is the largest school of its kind in Limassol, catering to children from 6 to 21 years old. In addition to the comprehensive educational program, they offer a range of activities such as swimming, horseback riding, and sports, ensuring holistic development for their students.
The Andrey and Julia Dashin Foundation helped cover part of the school’s summer camp costs this summer. From June 25 to August 2, 54 students will participate in various activities and workshops, have day trips and excursions, and enjoy their summer vacation.
Every child is born to enjoy life, explore the world around them, and spend their childhood carefree. Summer is the best time for this. Dashin’s Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that all children have access to diverse opportunities for growth and are exposed to positive emotions and experiences. It strives to do everything in its power to achieve this goal.
