The Russian Economic and Financial Forum in Switzerland

In the begining of April, I took part in the Russian Economic and Financial Forum which took place in Switzerland. The event has been held in Geneva since 1992, and brings together the leading figures from business and government.

It was important for me to discuss the current financial issues with specialists in the field. Amongst the items on the agenda was the question of regulation in the Forex market. Expert opinion and the open discussion of the market participants has paved the way for government proposals which should be made by the President of the Russian Federation by March 1, of this year.

I remind you that Alpari has, for many years, supported the introduction of civilized standards of Forex regulation in Russia. The company is an active participant of CRFIN and we welcome the gradual movement of the Russian market towards high international standards.
