Season’s Greetings from Andrey Dashin
First of all I would like to wish all of you a happy new year!
2016 has been a remarkable year, for both personal growth and for business. The past 12 months saw Alpari, FXTM, the Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation and the Alpari Charitable Fund grow significantly and it’s all the more reason why I look forward to what could be in store for 2017.
FXTM’s steady, global success was highlighted this year, with my company opening its first fully operational branch in London, being granted an FSP License from the South African Financial Services Board and receiving multiple industry awards such as ‘Best Forex Brand Nigeria’ from Global Brands Magazine, ‘Best FX Broker’ from the European CEO Awards, among others. In July, FXTM also announced its partnership with the renowned BASE jumper and Red Bull athlete, Valery Rozov for the FXTMbasejump project. A journey which saw Valery claim a new world-record in BASE jumping in the project finale in October.
Alpari was named Best Forex Broker for the 5th year in a row by Interfax and was announced that the company officially controls 30% of the Russian market for forex services. Awards like this are a great validation of the ongoing hard-work the company does, which is exactly what made the launch of our new global headquarters in Mauritius the next natural step. This great milestone was followed with Alpari receiving its license from the Bank of the Russian Federation.
The year also marked the second anniversary of the Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation and it was incredibly pleasing to hear that we have managed to donate around half a million euro to the community of Cyprus, since the day we opened our doors. While the Alprari Charitable Fund was also recognised by the Financial Press Club of the Russian Union of Journalists for its achievements.
I am truly humbled by the success, dedication and the hard-work of everyone who was part of these great achievements and who made 2016 such an unforgettable year. I look forward to the future and I wish more incredible milestones for us all in the coming year.
Warm Regards,
Andrey Valerievich Dashin
