Chess grandmaster Sergey Karjakin visited Kazan by invitation of the Alpari Charitable Fund
On 26 September, the World Champion in rapid chess and vice champion in classical chess, Sergey Karjakin, visited Kazan by invitation of the Alpari Charitable Fund.
Together with the Director of the Alpari Charitable Fund, Natalia Gilazeva, Sergey held a press conference and answered questions from journalists, students and pupils of chess schools.
After this, Sergey visited the school named after N. Galliamov, where he met pupils who gave him a tour of the school’s museum, showed him workshops and presented him with gifts. There, he held a session of simultaneous games with the young boys and girls, talked with them, and presented them with a signed chessboard.
Thank you, Sergey, for finding the time to do such good deeds!
