Founder Andrey Dashin commented:
“I would like to thank the organizers for this recognition. We are very proud that the first mobile unit checkpoint examination has started to work, and everyone will be able to take a free and painless HIV test anonymously, not only in Limassol but all over the island. I wish KYFA, their friends and volunteers good luck and prosperity. It’s very important to provide support, education, information and social services to people affected by HIV/AIDS, and to prevent and reduce the spread of HIV disease, especially among the young generation.”
KYFA is a non-profit organization operating on a volunteer basis and is the only agency in Limassol solely dedicated to providing support, education, information and social services to people affected by HIV/AIDS. It is situated in Limassol, Cyprus in the old general hospital premises which were donated by the Ministry of Health.
