Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation donates €15,000 to the First Lady’s charity organisation
On 7 September, Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation attended a fundraising gala, organised by businessman and philanthropist, Mr. Gaies Khrais. This annual event gathers distinguished guests, including the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Anastasiades and the First Lady Mrs. Andri Anastasiades.
The gala raised funds for the Independent Social Support Body (ISSB), an organisation that helps finance university studies for underprivileged students. The Foundation was pleased to donate 15,000 euro to this important cause.
During the charity gala, the First Lady awarded Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation for all the community work they do in Cyprus.
Julia Dashina explained why this cause is so important to her personally:
“The Foundation has supported the Independent Social Support Body for four years now. Faced with so many cases of underprivileged and abandoned children, we know firsthand how important the work of the Independent Social Support Body is.
As a mother of three, I believe that education plays one of the most significant roles in our children’s lives. Education is a gateway that opens up our creative capabilities and helps to fight against unemployment and environmental problems.
We are extremely proud and happy to be in a position to support the younger generation who are the future of the island.”
Since its establishment in 2014, Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation has given more than half a million euro to the Cyprus community and has extended a helping hand to those in need, without prejudice or discrimination.
