Sponsoring Tula Governor’s Philharmonic Wind Orchestra as part of the Russian Theater Seasons in Cyprus
On 5 November, in Limassol, Rialto Theatre, Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation and the Russian Cultural Centre (Rossotrudnichestvo) held a great concert of Tula Governor’s Philarmonic Wind Orchestra. The concert was presented as part of the international program ‘Russian Theatre Seasons in Cyprus’, presented by the Embassy of Russia and the Russian Cultural Centre, which is enjoying its second year on the island under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nicos Anastasiades.
For the past 25 years Tula Governor’s Philarmonic Wind Orchestra has been widely known in Russia and abroad for its excellent program, much of which is occupied by classical jazz compositions.
Founder Julia Dashina commented:
“The guests of the concert were able to enjoy beloved sounds of the past and present, as well as traditional, classical and contemporary pieces from the Russian and international repertoire. Music is a language we all understand, and we are proud to continue to sponsor international program ‘Russian Theatre Seasons in Cyprus’ bringing to Limassol such amazing artists as Tula Governor’s Philarmonic Wind Orchestra”.
As a noteworthy reminder, Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation sponsored children’s concert featuring the Nizhny Novgorod Provincial Orchestra; ‘The Gamblers’, a classical play written by Nikolay Gogol; and children’s play ‘The Wizard of Oz’, became a General Sponsor of these plays in Limassol within the framework of the international program ‘Russian Theatre Seasons in Cyprus’.
