Dashin’s Foundation supports Limassol disadvantaged families in cooperation with Exinity and Helping Hearts Cyprus
Recently Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation has provided financial support to the Food Bank of Helping Hearts Cyprus, a charitable organization that arranges food package deliveries all over the island. In Limassol alone, there are more than 300 underprivileged families, including many with young children.
Lately, the biggest challenge in the Limassol area has been finding volunteers who can dedicate a weekend morning to deliver these packages. We are pleased to note, 20 volunteers from Exinity were passionate about giving a helping hand to those in need.
On October 4th, thanks to the beautiful cooperation of Exinity Volunteers, Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation, and Helping Hearts Cyprus organization, 50+ houses with more than 120 people received grocery packs with fruits, vegetables, and the essentials to get them through the next couple of weeks.
Helping Hearts Cyprus Director, Mrs. Zanka Randall expressed gratitude: «Sunday the 4th of October, was a huge day for Helping Hearts Cyprus as it was our first major branching out from the Famagusta area into Limassol to help those in need. Meeting representatives from Andrey & Julia Dashin Foundation and wonderful volunteers from Exinity was truly amazing and emotional for us – having like-minded people on board who genuinely care about others. The day was overwhelming for the whole team and quite a few tears of joy when we got home knowing people would go to bed with full bellies and a little less worried and stressed».
The beauty of this day, enlightened by the sparkle of a small child’s eyes as they receive their food packages with gratitude, will stay with us for a very long time.
Helping Hearts Cyprus is a Registered NON Profit voluntary organization run by Brian and Zanka Randall, first established in March 2020 as the COVID19 pandemic reached Cyprus. Since then, and up until the present, they provide food and other kinds of assistance to disadvantaged families all over the island.
