FXTM Participated in the 2017 OPAP Limassol Marathon GSO

On the 19th of April, members of the FXTM Team and I took part in the 2017 OPAP Limassol Marathon, running in either the 5KM, 10KM and Half Marathon races. Seeing the team members proudly wearing the colours of the brand and the Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation, was a perfect display of the values we built this company on, as well as the unity between all of us.

In addition, knowing that on the previous day the Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation gave the opportunity to 2,000 children from across the island to participate, for free, in the 1KM Youth Race provided us all with extra motivation to act as responsible role-models for the young children and teenagers and showing them the benefits and pleasure of continuing to practice the healthy kind of lifestyle they engaged in the day before.

For me, running has been an integral part of my training regime for some years now. It’s something that helps me kick-start my days and helps revitalize my body and my mind. The importance of exercising in order to maintain a healthy psyche was one of the messages we wanted to communicate though the support of the 1KM Youth Race as well as showing the significance of being involved in the local community and giving back to its people every chance we have.
