On Friday, November 17th, 2023, Exinity Limited celebrated a decade of operating in Mauritius at the Maritim Resorts & Spa in Balaclava.
During the event, Mr. Mahen Kumar Seeruttun, the Minister of Financial Services and Good Governance, emphasized the profound contribution of the financial services sector to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). As per Mr. Seeruttun, the industry represents 14% of the GDP and offers more than 15,000 people direct employment opportunities. He emphasized Exinity’s accomplishments, showcased the economic ripple effect created by companies like Exinity, and urged the organization to strengthen its presence in Mauritius for increased employment opportunities.

The Minister spoke about promoting favourable conditions to encourage the influx of international firms into Mauritius’s financial services sector. These efforts involve complying with the latest global regulatory frameworks, strengthening traditional advantages, and exploring new frontiers through innovative products and services.
Additionally, Mr. Seeruttun stressed the significance of developing FinTech, technology-enabled financial services solutions while upholding consumer confidence and trust to establish Mauritius as a preferred International Financial Centre. He emphasized the government’s dedication to maintaining a thriving and attractive environment for credible and reputable players in the financial services industry to conduct business seamlessly in Mauritius.
