Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation Spreads Christmas Joy with the Cyprus Red Cross Society

Being at a position where you can give a child or a parent a reason to smile, especially during the festive season, is one of the biggest reasons why my wife and I created the foundation. This year we joined forces with the Cyprus Red Cross Society to bring a little bit of Christmas magic to the homes of 1,000 underprivileged families across the island.

The Red Cross Society will be responsible for the distribution of 1,000 “Packages of Love” which will include a variety of food supplies and other necessities, to children in elementary and secondary schools. The Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation will additionally provide 1,000 gift vouchers worth 30euros each to the recipients of the “Packages of Love”.

In a joint press release distributed by us and the Cyprus Red Cross Society, the president of the organisation commented: “During these difficult times, in which our society is constantly trying to rebound, seeing more people joining our vision and effort in making more families happy, is truly heart-warming, especially this time of the year… On behalf of the Cyprus Red Cross Society, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for this act of love”.

Julia and I both believe that we all share the responsibility of continuing to support the people in our community regardless of their background, social standing, age or gender – not just during the festive seasons but all year round.
