Andrey and Julia Dashin’s Foundation supported the “Radio Marathon of Gratitude”
Andrey and Julia Dashin’s Foundation supported the “Radio Marathon of Gratitude” organized on Saturday 19th of December by the Municipality of Ipsonas (Limassol), Little Odysseus educational team and radio station ACTIVE Radio.
During the Marathon there was a theatrical presentation of five books by author Marina Gioti: “The present”, “Christmas Sweets”, “Merry Christmas Mr. Dickens”, “The Witch Chaos and the Leprechauns” and “Twice Upon a Time: Has Anyone Seen Santa?”. Andrey and Julia Dashin’s Foundation purchased 150 books and donated them as gifts to the children participating in the marathon live on air sharing of Gratitude phrases.
“I am feeling truly honored that the Andrey and Julia Dashin’s Foundation selected and offered my books in English, to all the children who participated in the competition “Share a Gratitude Phrase”. It is my belief that real gifts of Christmas are feelings coming from the heart, such as love, joy, and solidarity. Today, thanks to the organizers of the event, we were all blessed to share those feelings with kids and adults throughout Cyprus,” commented Marina Gioti, the author of the books.
Andrey and Julia Dashin’s Foundation noted that Christmas is a time of big and small miracles that should happen in everyone’s life.
“In this difficult year we all need attention, warmth and support. It is a great joy for us to give festive emotions to children and to support the writer,” the Foundation added.
Support for educational projects is one of the activities of the Andrey and Julia Dashin’s Foundation. The Foundation also allocates funds for the development of social, medical, cultural projects, children’s assistance and environmental protection.
