It has been said that a crisis is a time of opportunity. Andrey Dashin, president of the renowned financial company Alpari, would probably agree.

In 1998, during a period of economic crisis, Dashin and a group of his peers created the company that would become one of the leading online brokers in Russia by December of 2008 (strange how it worked out that Alpari is celebrating its tenth birthday during another economic crisis). In honor of Alpari’s 10-year anniversary, Andrey Dashin decided to share some of the secrets of creating and managing a successful business, adding his commentary to that of major figures in the business world.
