Andrey and Julia Dashin’s Foundation Announces its Launch

On May 5th, my wife Julia and I held a large press conference before the Cyprus media in Nicosia to officially launch the Andrey and Julia Dashin’s Foundation.

Our foundation will develop and support charitable initiatives in Cyprus, providing targeted assistance to those in need. We plan for the annual budget of the foundation to be 500,000 EUR per annum, doubling every two to three years.

The first steps have been taken. Today, the foundation has already donated 40,000 EUR to charitable causes. Recently, we supported the important ecological initiative Let’s Do it Mediterranean and provided help to an orphanage in Limassol. During the press conference we made a donation of 15,000 EUR to the Cyprus Autistic Association. Our foundation has big plans for the future.

Charity is an integral part of my life. I am certain that anyone who wants to help other people can find the time and the way to do it. It is important for me to personally get involved in providing help to those who it is vital for. Since 2005 in Kazan (Russia), I have been successfully managing the Alpari Charity Foundation, undertaking activities that were highly valued in the Republic of Tatarstan.

My family has been living in Cyprus for two years already. My wife and children, as do I, love this sunny island. For this reason we decided to open a charitable foundation, using our experience in charitable works to contribute to the welfare of our second home.
