Dashins donate €20,000 to First Lady’s community service

Andrey and Julia Dashin, founders of the “Andrey and Julia Dashin’s Foundation”, donated €20,000 to the Independent Social Support Body chaired by First Lady Andri Anastasiades. This is their second donation to the same charity in just over a year.

The cheque was presented during a charity gala, hosted by Gaies Khrais, General Director of Metaquotes Software and his family in support of the ISSB that provifes financial aid to university students in need.

In her speech, Julia Dashina explained their reason for giving: “When my husband and I decided to establish the foundation in Cyprus we made a pledge to ourselves and the community of Cyprus – that we would become a force of good and provide an extending hand to anyone who truly needs it. More than two years later we have helped numerous NGOs in their worthy causes, supported local and national initiatives and have fought for education, culture and the environment in Cyprus.”

During the charity gala, the First Lady expressed her appreciation to the couple, for all the community work they do in Cyprus.
