Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation and Cyprus Red Cross Society join forces for Christmas
Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation joins forces with the Cyprus Red Cross Society Youth Section for the third year in a row, in an effort to help vulnerable families and their children in Cyprus spend the festive holidays. The Campaign which runs under the auspices of Cyprus Red Cross Society President, Mrs. Fotini Papadopoulos, and the founders, Andrey and Julia Dashin, will run throughout the whole month of December with an aim to offer necessities and goods to 1,000 families across Cyprus.
Specifically, 1,000 “Packages of Love” containing food and personal care products, as well as 500 vouchers will be offered to families in need across the island. The Youth Section of the Cyprus Red Cross Society will distribute 600 ‘‘Packages of Love” to elementary schools and 400 packages to secondary schools while Andrey and Julia Dashin’s Foundation will provide these families with 500 vouchers, worth 20 Euros each, which they will be able to redeem as Christmas presents for their children.
Mrs. Fotini Papadopoulos, President of the Cyprus Red Cross Society, commented on the Foundation’s continuing support every Christmas by stating that:
“On behalf of the Cyprus Red Cross Society I would like to thank Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation for supporting our National Society and the Youth Section’s efforts in distributing the “Packages of Love” and vouchers. Your continuous contribution to the Society has been a light of hope to the families in need and a great example of our most important fundamental principle: Humanity. Thank you again for your generosity and philanthropy”.
Regarding the Foundation’s Christmas Campaign, Founder Mr. Andrey Dashin, said:
“Our motto for 2019 is “sharing is caring.” It has always been our philosophy that you only receive when you truly and selflessly give. I am both happy and proud that Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation has made an impact to the lives of these families and has brightened the smiles of their children. Christmas is a time for family and unity and what better way to celebrate than to spread the joy across the island by adhering to the needs of those less fortunate.”
