Αndrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation for Community Κindergarden “Agia Paraskevi” in Germasogia

Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation is delighted to announce the sponsorship of 2 outdoor playground multi-toys for the “Agia Paraskevi” Community Kindergarten in Germasogia, Limassol. The initiative comes after the Kindergarten’s Parents’ Association contacted the Foundation asking for financial assistance regarding the educational and recreational activities of its children.

According to international design standards for Kindergartens, a playground must feature equipment that allows the following activities: climbing, crawling through passages and swinging. With 82 children aged between 2-5 years old and no suitable play apparatus, the Germasogia Kindergarden wrote to Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation asking for sponsorship:

“We want our children to have the right and proper development – this is best achieved through play. Since we have no recreational equipment for the children to interact with, we feel it is important to purchase multi-purpose outdoor play structures that meet their needs.”

Andrey and Julia Dashin generously offered €3,500 for the purchase of 2 top-of-the-range multi-toys; these will be shipped from abroad in the coming month. Founder Julia Dashina stated that:

“As a mother of three, I know firsthand the importance and power that external stimuli can have on a child’s sensory input. It is a privilege and an honour to be in a position to offer something that will not only actively help the development of 85 children, but also benefit future students who will attend the kindergarten.”
