Benefit Concert to celebrate the two-year Anniversary of the Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation
Starlight Music Night takes place in Nicosia
In honour of the two-year anniversary of my wife and I’s charitable fund, a vibrant and resonant music festival took place on the 11th of June in Cyprus: Starlight Music Night. Some of Greece’s’ favourite and popular musicians – much loved throughout Cypriot generations – came together to a big open-space amphitheatre in Nicosia.
The Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra, along with Greek folk-rock and modern pop musicians, performed triumphantly. The amphitheatre was full to the brim, with almost two thousand spectators gathering to experience this magical concert.
The Starlight Music Night took place under the patronage of the First Lady of the Republic of Cyprus, Mrs. Andri Anastasiade. A charitable auction was also held during the event and a special VIP Cocktail Gala in the beautiful caves situated above the amphitheatre in aid of the Miracle Babies; an association that tries to renovate the one and only Intensive Neonatal Care Unit for Pre-mature Babies in the island. I am very happy that we managed to raise thousands of euro for this cause.
It really is worth noting how the Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation is reaching new heights. Over the course of two years we have managed to help the community of Cyprus both on a local and a national level. We will continue to expand the limits of our work for the benefit of the Cypriot society, extending a helping hand and promoting culture and the act of volunteerism.
