H1 2018: FXTM and Alpari progress

FXTM continues to position itself globally as a market leader and tier one broker. The company’s trading turnover in the first half of 2018 increased by 81% compared to the same period last year. The number of active clients also increased by 58% in H1 2018. Having firmly established itself as the global broker with the local touch, FXTM now has over 1,000,000 registered accounts worldwide.

Alpari’s trading turnover across key markets over the first half of 2018 amounted to 840.5bn USD, which is 40% higher than the same period in 2017. We reached our all-time highest trading turnover due to the growth of our client base. In the second quarter of 2018, we passed the milestone of 2,000,000 clients.

Important changes took place in both companies’ directorships. Vladimir Verbitsky was appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Alpari. Olga Rybalkina became a Managing Partner and Minority Shareholder of FXTM and Alpari, supporting me in the strategic development of the companies. In addition, Nicholas Defteras was appointed to the position of ForexTime Limited CEO, taking over responsibility for the management of the company’s operations.

In the first half of 2018, FXTM and Alpari delivered strong results, which were achieved thanks to our impeccable reputation, superior trading conditions and the great confidence our clients have in us. We have a lot planned for the coming months. Our key objectives include the further strengthening of the business in international markets where it has a presence and the growth of operational performance indicators. I’m confident that H2 2018 will bring us to new heights.
