I wish you a merry Christmas and a Happy New year! 2018 was full of many interesting events. Alpari and FXTM again won prestigious national and international awards, with important changes taking place in both companies’ directorships.
FXTM has now over 1,000,000 registered accounts worldwide. We have also received a long-awaited license to conduct brokerage activities in the UK. In June, FXTM announced its sponsorship of the UN patron of the oceans, endurance swimmer Lewis Pugh, supporting his ambitious project – «The Long Swim» – a 530km swim along the English Channel.
In the second quarter of 2018, Alpari passed the milestone of 2,000,000 clients. In April, the extreme sports Russian project “Alpari Cycling Expedition to the North Pole” finished with two world records. And one of the main events of 2018 was also the Alpari’s 20th anniversary.
In addition to this, I am pleased to mention that in 2018, the amount of assistance provided by Andrey and Julia Dashin’s Foundation in Cyprus and the Alpari Charitable Fund in Russia increased significantly.
Our key objectives for the next year include the further strengthening of Alpari and FXTM in international markets and the growth of operational performance indicators. I’m confident that 2019 will bring us to new heights.
